Why now

The coordination layer is the binding constraint of the decade — and it's finally cheap to build.

Placeholder essay. Replace with the canonical “why now” piece when ready.

Three things are different from any other moment we could have tried this:

Distribution is cheap. A small team can reach the right thousand people without buying attention from a platform. The routing problem is no longer “how do we get heard”; it is “who do we want to be heard by, and what should they do next.”

Capital is fluid. Yield, liquidity, and on-chain instruments mean a coordination layer can move dollars at the same latency it moves attention. What used to be a quarterly grant cycle can be a same-week allocation.

Trust is rebundling. The institutions that used to broker trust at scale are losing legibility. Smaller, denser networks of people who have worked together pick up the slack. Memetwork is built for that shape.

The cost of being wrong about when is small. The cost of being wrong about whether is the next decade.
